Personal note - our very good friend Bets Love flew her first flight as her return as a stewardess. Yes she knows they are called flight attendants but in her flying world, originating w/ Pan Am and retiring from Delta - she prefers to be called a "stewardess". LOL - WE are so proud of her. Go Bets!!!
I watched a documentary called "Happy" the other day - and it said that people who are happy are constantly finding a different way to never let life get stale. It could be as easy as driving a different way to work, get the heart pumping, a different way. I think all of us collectly (piratehearts) live our life, supporting each other and getting our heart pumping to different beats. Never letting our drums get boring right??? - Learning new things - taking risks - putting ourselves out there.
The show also said people who go through a tragedy have the ability to reach huge heights of "happiness", but the key is to find the light as soon as possible and overcome as quick as possible. Maybe the longer the darkness holds on - the tighter the grip. I don;t know - but you hear that all the time. people get sad or bitter or they start a new life, one usually so full of enlightment and peace. Just FYI - Japan is the most depressed country in the world and men actually die from too much work. They have a name for it, Karoshi - death from overwork.
